Optimizing Stress Management in College Students
Wake Forest University researchers are employing a single session of yoga, regressive muscle relaxation, deep-breathing technique, and quiet sitting to determine if delivered along or in combination is a viable method for college students to reduce stress.
You may be eligible for this stress management study if you:
·Are an undergraduate college student
·Are aged 18-24 years
·Are able to engage in physical activity
·Are willing to complete an informed consent document and attend a singl stress interventino session lasting up to 60 minutes
·Agree to all study procedures and assessments
If you qualify to participate you will:
·Travel to Worrell Hall on Wake Forest University Reynolda Campus for 2 study visits
·Engage in a 60-minute stress management session
·Fill out psychometric tests about your stress level
